The 2025 wedding season began in the best possible way! It kicked off at one of my favorite venues in Seattle, the Four Seasons. Every time I walk through their doors, it feels like coming home to a team that just gets it. They’re attentive, kind, and so committed to excellence that it’s impossible not to love working there.

Their wedding was romantic, modern, and effortlessly chic; just like the couple themselves.

The bride wore a stunning gown from IDINA Bridal Shop, it was elegant and timeless! Her bridesmaids chose their own black formal dresses. I love when bridal parties do this; it adds a sense of individuality while still feeling cohesive. It also helps when all of them are fashion icons!

Later that evening, the bride changed into an adorable short party dress for the reception. It was playful and stylish, the perfect choice for dancing the night away!

From the very beginning, cherry blossoms were the quiet heartbeat of this design. They first appeared on the couple’s wedding website, then blossomed again on the wedding day. The ceremony featured two breathtaking cherry blossom trees that framed the vows. The ceremony was during golden hour and had a string quartet to create a romantic ambiance! I love working with Delinger & Radovich because they can truly transform a space!

As the sun dipped lower, the soft pinks of the blooms reflected the golden light spilling into the room.

After the ceremony, we moved the trees indoors to flank the sweetheart table, and they completely transformed the room. Each place setting had a blossom accent laying across the menu.

A pause to appreciate the acrylic invitation!

We also tried something new with the layout that I absolutely loved. The couple wanted long king’s tables but needed more seating than a standard setup would allow. So, instead of ending each table with two seats, we capped them with three by using a half round. It created this elegant, flowing shape through the room and worked better than I could’ve imagined.

The Four Seasons pastry team truly outdid themselves with the cake. Every time I see what comes out of that kitchen, I’m blown away. At each place setting, guests found sleek black favor bags.

One of my most memorable parts of the night was the father of the bride’s toast. I went to eat dinner while toast were happening and came back and the dad was still toasting. Worlds longest toast, I think we clocked 40 minutes.

It was the most beautiful start to the year, full of love, laughter, cherry blossoms, and a little bit of city magic.
